Jiaxi received his undergraduate degree from Zhejiang University of Technology in 2013. In the same year, He joined Professor Ren'an Wu’s laboratory in Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2019, he received his PhD degree and joined the Wheeler Lab as a Postdoctoral Fellow.
He is interested in the application of novel methods for mass spectrometry (MS) based proteomics, to provide biological information for the profiling of potential biomarkers and elucidation of important biological problems. His work focuses on the highly sensitive, specific, and high throughput analysis of target biomolecules from complex biological system by taking advantage of the specific interaction between affinity probes and biomolecules. Now he is working on the precise analysis of single-cell proteome using highly automated microfluidic techniques combined with MS.
