Darius has joined the Wheeler Group as a Ph.D. student after completing his M.Sci. (Hons) in Natural Science and M.Sc. in Chemistry and Biological Sciences at Durham University, UK.  For the last couple of years, he has worked on electrochemical detection and his M.Sc. thesis was on developing an electrochemical sensor for the anaesthetic propofol.

With a background in electrochemistry, Darius is investigating the integration of electrochemical sensors into DMF devices for various applications.  He is particularly interested in sensors for use with cell cultures grown on DMF devices.

Outside of the lab, Darius enjoys cooking, cycling, and playing his violin.
